Anna Marie Esparza Producer

Anna Marie Esparza has been a producer and production manager (UPM) since 1995. Anna Marie attended the American Film Institute (AFI), where she earned an MFA in Producing. Two of the films from her first year at the AFI — “The Tunnel of Rain” and “Daddy” — were picked as the year’s top five favorites. Today, the short film “The Tunnel of Rain” is still showed to incoming students at AFI. The thesis film she produced, called “Homecoming,” was an Official Selection of the Los Angeles International Short Film Festival. In 2005, Anna Marie became a member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA). She works on union productions as a Unit Production Manager (UPM) and/or Assistant Director (AD). Among her most notable projects was the music video for artist Lalo Guerrero titled “Vamos A Bailar,” which received high praise from critics and festivals and was showcased in MTV’s Latin markets.
